6~4 Win against Brickies last night at Southern Districts Sylvania. Two consecutive Grand Finals losses Third time lucky. The Tigers have never won on the main field in 4 years but got the monkey off there back last night. Jordan Gibbons and Mick McCarron led the way working there guts out in the centre, well supported by Rick Barnett who gave it to the ref all night ,forward pass? The Tigers were relentless hitting back each time a try was scored. Head Anderson played the typical sly trick indicating he had several injuries (but managed the first 2 tries). Humpa thought he was trying out for Cronulla with 2 massive hits on Ollie which left him in Gaga land (Touch Footy I don’t think so). Gillie was relentless once the nerves settled as was Ray Sonda who made amends after an early mistake by scoring quickly after. Meades was also relentless after a month off with bronchitis fighting for everything. Marzic guarded the wing like a German Sheppard.
